 What is a visit? Is that the same as a hit? |

| Why doesn't my counter match 100% with TrafficCircuit's? |

Several factors may prevent visitors from actually making a request to your server:
* The visitor is on a slow connection and canceled the request.
* Your site was unavailable (down) or extremely slow.
* The visitor"s browser or Internet Provider saved a previous copy of your web site and used that, instead.
Third-party tracking (which usually shows up as an image on your page) magnifies these problems to the point that it should never be used as a reliable tally. Raw Server Logs are the only accurate method for targeted traffic comparison.
